SINJOTECS

The Union of Journalists and Social Communication Technicians of Guinea-Bissau (SINJOTECS) is a socio-professional organisation representing journalists and media technicians across Guinea-Bissau.

The organisation works to promote press freedom, freedom of expression, ethical journalism, and the protection of media professionals’ rights. SINJOTECS also collaborates with national and international partners to strengthen media development and professional capacity within the sector.

Vision

To promote the professional development of media actors, press freedom, and freedom of expression in Guinea-Bissau. To establish bridges with development partners aimed at the technical capacity building of communication professionals in multiple journalistic and public life domains.

Mission

To protect, defend and promote freedom of expression, freedom of the press and the labour interests of media professionals in Guinea-Bissau (journalists and technicians).
