On the fifth day of December 2022, the Association for Cooperation Between Peoples (ACEP) and the Association of Women Media Professionals (AMPROCS) held a photographic exhibition of Guinea-Bissau’s women journalists, considered “djintis de rispitu”, as part of the 9th edition of the fortnight.
The event mobilized press professionals from different public, private and community bodies across the country.

Fátima Tchuma Camará, vice-president of AMPROCS, said she was pleased with this gesture of recognition and exaltation of the value of women professionals in the Guinean press.
On the other hand, Tchuma Camará called for greater engagement of women journalists in the profession.
The exhibition was made possible thanks to the support of Portuguese cooperation and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
