17 May 2024

The Presidents of the Association of Women Media Professionals(AMPROCS-GB) and the National Network of Community Radios and Televisions (RENARC), Paula Silva de Melo and Demba Sanhá respectively, gave very positive feedback on the importance of the institutional policy documents developed – strategic plans, personnel and human resources plans and communication and fundraising plans – which are improving their organizational efficiency.

“The MFWA’s support in developing these institutional policy documents was a great opportunity for us. With these [documents] we will be able to guide and mobilize resources to strengthen capacities and make better interventions in communities,” said Demba.

Paula de Melo said: “Everything the MFWA does is for our benefit, to improve our performance, our work and our performance. Today, AMPROCS will have a strategic plan thanks to the MFWA, and I have a lot to thank them for.”

This initiative is part of the project “Promoting Media Freedom and Access to Quality Information in Guinea-Bissau”, which is being implemented by the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) with funding from the European Union.
