The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), in partnership with Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and Fondation Hirondelle (FH), is looking for a talented musician or musical group to compose and produce a high-quality song in Guinea-Bissau Creole that raises awareness about mis/disinformation and hate speech in the country. The song will be part of a public education campaign aimed at youth and the public.
The selected musician or musical group must compose a culturally relevant and non-partisan song that promotes media literacy and responsible information sharing.
This mission is part of an 18-month European Union-funded project entitled: “Promoting and protecting democracy by safeguarding freedom of opinion and expression and combating mis/disinformation in Guinea-Bissau“.
